Tina had the good idea to use last weekend when we were down in Georgia as our "out with friends". We went and hung out with Brooke, Chad, Buffy, Jaime, Luke, Kristin, and Blake... and of course the dogs Benny, River, and Murphy.
We usually get there late but they're all good about staying up and greeting us. We got the fire going and the conversation juice flowing.

During the day we go to a private beach they call "the sand bar" on the river.

I love that you included your southern friends and your "friends at home". That's how you referred to your friends in NYC. You have never looked back - have taken to your new home like a fish in water. Yet you haven't forgotten your southern roots and Tina respects that, too. You both move in and out of your worlds with such ease, loving the people you each bring into your relationship. You two are having such a good time!
